ThoughtWidget is a multi-media platform to discuss politics, culture, the news media, language, and well, anything else we want.

We hope to provide a unique perspective on a variety of topics unfettered by conventional thinking, political correctness, or adherence to a political orthodoxy.  What you won’t encounter at Thought Widget is the excessive emotionalism common in today’s public discourse, especially on visual and social media.   In our world, we favor logic over emotion, verifiable fact over personal anecdote, and thoughtful analysis over superficiality.

We’ll try not to take ourselves too seriously  – our purpose is to be informative, sometimes entertaining, and, maybe even humorous – all while remaining true to our principles.   Be advised, though, you won’t find cute animal videos, celebrity gossip, or video games here.  Our goal is to exercise our intellect, and yours, and to make your Thought Widget experience time well spent.  We live at ThoughtWidget.com and our Youtube channel, and on other social media platforms as well.  Welcome and thanks for visiting.
